Leif Erikson Lodge Scholarships & Awards
Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001 Scholarship Committee formed in 2001
has a balanced scholarship program for young people of a variety
of ages and educational needs. Our largest scholarship is given
to District 2 Youth Camp Instructors/Counselors who provide
positive camp experiences for young people who may possibly
continue as members in Sons of Norway later on in life. In 2006
we began a capital fundraising campaign for an endowed fund.
Several named scholarship levels are available if you are
interested. No goods or services are provided by the Leif
Erikson Lodge 2-001 Scholarship Committee in return for your
contribution. Your donation may be tax-deductible. Check with
your financial advisor.
All applications must be received at Leif Erikson Lodge by March 31, 2008.
For more information on Sons of Norway District 2 Youth Camps, see www.sofncamps.com.
Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001 Queen Committee and Board of Directors will each year
award to two young women an award of $500 or $300 who will represent the Lodge
as its Queen and Princess. The amount is determined by the Leif Erikson Board
of Directors each year. The winners will represent Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001,
Sons of Norway, at events during the year.
All Queen applications must be received at Leif Erikson Lodge by March 31, 2008.
